Hi, I’m Angela – the hands, heart (and nose!) behind Planet Paradise.

After years working in TV drama and becoming a mum to twin girls in my mid-forties, I knew it was time for a change. So I swapped the chaos of production for something a little calmer and found my happy place in candle making.

I’ve always loved creating – whether it was handmade gifts for friends or trying to recreate something gorgeous I’d seen in a shop. Why candles? They just clicked. They turned out to be the perfect blend of creativity and practicality for me. And as a happy side-effect, my home always smells amazing – a perk I hadn’t planned, but one that sealed the deal when it came to building a home fragrance business. I loved the challenge of making something better, more affordable, and uniquely mine. A little luxury for every day.

What started as a hobby quickly grew into something more, and Planet Paradise was born. Every candle is poured by hand in my garden workshop, packed with care, and made to help you carve out a tiny moment of calm – your own little bit of paradise in the madness of everyday life.

Because sometimes, a small moment of calm is the greatest gift we can give ourselves.
